Evangelistic Crusades

Worldwide Apostolic Church has a vision of taking the gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide. In fulfillment of this vision, the church has gone ahead to organize evangelistic crusades in many of the suburbs around the location of the main church headquarters. Crusades have been held in Kiswa Market, Bugolobi Market (Jambula), Bugolobi (Kiyembe), Gizagiza, Naguru Police Barracks, Kinawataka, Kataza, Kitintale (Gulf), Nakawa Airport Market & Nakawa Main Market. In all we have had over 700 decisions being made for Jesus Christ during these evangelistic outreaches.

Evangelistic Missions

The evangelistic missions can be classified into 2 categories which include the local mini missions and upcountry missions. Worldwide Apostolic Church hosted Tororo Busia Missioners from Makerere University for a residential mini mission in Kiswa in September 2008 and December 2010. WAC hosted Rescue 333 Ministry for a residential mini mission in December 2008. Finally WAC hosted Testimony International ministry for a mini mission in October 2011.

The first upcountry mission within Uganda was organized jointly with a church in Jinja to Manafwa District in Eastern Uganda. During this mission over 300 individuals gave their lives to Jesus Christ. The next mission was organized in Butalejja District in Eastern Uganda. During this mission over 200 individuals committed their lives to Jesus Christ.

More missions are still in the pipeline.

Door to door evangelism & Apostolic Mission

The door to door evangelism supplements the outdoor mass evangelism. Here ministers reach out in small groups to preach the gospel from house to house. In the year 2016 the church has embarked on a vision called the Apostolic Mission. Three weekly sessions have been set aside to preach the gospel door to door. These sessions are ongoing.

Prisons Ministry

In response to Our Lord’s admonition to visit the prisoners, the church has held evangelistic outreaches to the local prisons. During these prison outreaches the church has also supplied the prisons with charitable contributions to help the welfare of the prisoners. An evangelistic outreach was held in 2009 in Kirinya Prison at Kitagobwa where over 50 prisoners committed their lives to Jesus Christ. Another outreach was held in 2010 at Luzira Prison, the main Uganda prison and over 50 conversions to Jesus Christ were recorded. More prison outreaches are being planned.
